We were blessed by special music this morning. Laura Lee Standland, accompanied by her Dad, Jamie Standland.

VBS was “WILD”! Sardis Baptist came to our town to direct not just our Bible school, but they were out in the community showing the message of Christ by rebuilding other churches and teaching backyard Bible at Madison Street Park. 14 people made a decision to follow Jesus! Praise God! Thank you Sardis Baptist Church for knowing your mission and making a difference in our little world!

Please continue to pray for Colton! What an amazing day for him.

It’s really hard to get this big of a group all looking the same way at the same time, but what a great time we had watching the Texas Rangers play the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field!!!

Please continue to lift this precious one up in prayer. He remains on our prayer list. Colton and his family still need our prayers.

Something for us all to remember: A word of caution about Easter to faithful churchgoing members: When you see someone at church that you haven't seen in a blue moon, don't despise them, thank God they are there! When someone walks in with ripped jeans or unusual piercings, don't look down on them, thank God they are there! When you spot a young lady that may not know how to dress modestly to church, thank God she is there! When you run into someone who happens to be covered in tattoos, don't be appalled, thank God they are there! When you see someone with purple hair, blue hair, spiked hair or no hair, thank God they are there! When you see that "perfect" family who seems to have it all together, don't be fooled, but thank God they are there! When you are inconvenienced in the parking lot or in the church house, thank God you are there! When you don't like all of the music or the preacher gets a little too excited, thank God you are even there! Easter reminds us that God is still working on all of us. There are no perfect people, no perfect churches, no perfect preachers, no one has arrived. We are all on a journey so we thank God for a redeemer, a rescuer, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Trinity Baptist is sponsoring The Big Prayer. We invite anyone to sign up in 30 minute increments (or more) for 24 hours. Time slots begin at 12:00 AM on April 19 (Good Friday) and will end with the last slot being 11:30 PM. If you are interested in filling a slot, please post PM here or call the church office at 482-3705. We will be praying for our country, our churches, our communities, our government leaders or whatever you feel led to pray for.

What a special service today as JR was dedicated to our Lord. Parents are Justin & Shelby Bryan.

Today, our congregation was blessed to be able to celebrate the 44th Anniversary of our Pastor and friend, Roland Rabon. He has touched many lives since coming to Marianna 44 years ago. He will continue to be our Shepherd through the end of November! We have been blessed by his many years of service.

Congratulations to our very own Brian Michell. Way to go BLee!

What a joy do have the children singing with our praise team this morning!!

I know you all have seen the name Colt Whisler and family on our prayer list each week. For those of you that do not know him, this is Colt. He has been such a trooper. His mother, Stephanie Whisler (Johnson) graduated from Marianna High School. Colton has an older brother and this has been very hard on him as well. So I just ask you to please keep them in your prayers.

So thankful to have received this donation from Farnerville, Louisiana. We are so thankful that they have not forgotten the folks in Jackson County. And to top it off, I have made another new friend. Thank you, Carla!! We appreciate you delivering the cleaning supplies collected by your daughter and her friends. I look forward to seeing you the next time.

So thankful for Sisters on the Fly for restoring our prayer garden. Just one of the many projects they completed while in town.
